 Abstract
In this paper I apply Levinson's notion of activity type to classroom discourse in order to discuss the constraints on the participants' allowable contributions both at the level of the form of the discourse and at the level of its content.

 Rezumat
În această lucrare, ne propunem să aplicăm conceptul de ?tip de activitate? (Levinson) la discursul pedagogic pentru a discuta constrângerile pe care le impune asupra contribuţiilor participanţilor la interacţiune atât la nivelul formal al discursului, cât şi la nivelul conţinutului.
